You don't need us to build — you need us to certify

An engineer designs and certifies; a contractor builds to what the engineer drew; and, ideally, the engineer inspects that they did. Those are three separate jobs, and keeping them separate is most of what protects a client from a structure that looks finished and is not sound.

When a caller asks us to build, we explain the split, and nine times out of ten what they actually needed was the drawing and the stamp, not a crew.
